Dr Catherine Turner
Principal Dentist
GDC: 229708
Catherine graduated from Leeds Dental School in 2012 with Merit. She provides all aspects of general dentistry and also many cosmetic treatments such as teeth whitening, veneers, composite bonding and teeth straightening with short-term braces (Six Month Smiles). Catherine also provides Facial Aesthetic treatments such as line softening and dermal fillers.
Catherine particularly enjoys providing these sorts of cosmetic treatments as they can really change a persons confidence and allow them to smile confidently again.
Catherine is also passionate about restoring people’s faith and confidence in coming to the dentist. She understands that many people have had bad experiences and are therefore very scared of even coming into the practice for the first time. Catherine’s intention is to ensure people are comfortable, and maybe even happy, to come and see her. She prides herself on being able to tailor and adapt treatments, and their delivery, to suit each individual’s wants and needs.
Catherine says: “I have had many cases in the past where people were so frightened that they wouldn’t come into the room, or would burst into tears when they had to sit in the dental chair. With time and understanding, they were able to have the treatment they wanted or needed, and walked out of my surgery with a big smile on their faces; proud of their teeth, and of themselves for achieving what they thought was impossible. Building a relationship of trust between myself and my patients is essential. I am never here to judge, only to help.”
Outside of dentistry, Catherine enjoys spending time in the Royal parks near where she lives with her husband, and finding a good pub to grab a drink and enjoy, or shelter from, the weather!
Catherine provides general and cosmetic dentistry for private patients at the practice (adults and children), and is a Denplan registered provider for both Denplan Care and Essentials. As mentioned, she also provides facial aesthetic treatments and Six Month Smile adult braces.

Pauline has been a registered nurse since 2008 and has been with the practice for many years. She is a friendly, familiar face for the majority of our patients. Pauline has worked extremely hard since the Covid-19 pandemic to ensure patients are still receiving the same excellent care they always have done at the practice. During the pandemic Pauline also kept the clinical team going by making extra equipment with her excellent sewing skills, such as strap-extenders to make the masks more comfortable, and scrub bags for us to take uniforms home to wash separately from our everyday clothes. As well as sewing, Pauline enjoys seeing friends and family with her husband and being with her children and grandchildren. In her spare time she is a keen gardener, vegetable grower and bee-keeper. We don’t know how she finds the time to be a dental nurse . . . but we’re extremely grateful that she does!
